John Kutsch, Executive Director, Thorium Energy Alliance, discuss how Thorium Power Plants can generate clean electricity from one metric ton of Thorium. Thorium Reactors were developed at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Recycling takes place on the site. Thorium can supply the World’s clean energy needs for over 10,000 years. Thorium Power Plants can supply electricity cheaper than coal or 3 cents per kilowatt-hour.

John also talked about relationship of thorium and rare earth elements, which are used in the trillion-dollar electronics industry. China supplies 99 percent of the rare_earths_elements Thorium is used in numerous other consumer and industrial products.
